Personal Branding Session with Aysha

You may be wondering, what is a personal branding session and how is it different from a typical headshot session? A personal branding session goes a step beyond a standard headshot session by incorporating more of your personality and producing a wide variety of imagery for use across multiple platforms. Instead of just one or two simple photos, you will receive several images with multiple outfits, locations, and poses to better elevate your brand.

With so many options for consumers to buy from, you have to stand out. Customers are looking to connect with you as a person, not just a brand. Your personal branding session integrates who you are in a professional, dynamic way that holds your audience’s attention for longer. Take a look at the custom imagery Aysha and I created together. Aysha is a manuscript editor and needed professional imagery for her website. She wanted to showcase the two sides to her business: one, a more creative, imaginative side for her fiction clients and two, a cleaner, more powerful persona for her scientific clients.

During our in person consultation, I helped Aysha narrow down exactly what she was looking for in her finished gallery, how she was going to implement them on her website and social media, and made sure we understood her target demographic. Planning is key for these types of sessions to maximize your investment!

Another tip for booking your personal branding session is to hire a professional makeup artist and wardrobe stylist. Letting professionals do the work takes a ton of pressure off of the actual shoot day. Jon and Cena made sure Aysha looked her very best by providing two different makeup looks and a variety of outfits to choose from.
